Outside Picks is published by PlankByte LLC in McAllen, Texas. We write buying guides for people with a yard, a porch, a camper or a trail nearby, and we keep each guide to the handful of products that fit a specific constraint: a 10×10 deck, a weekend without hookups, a porch with one hook.

Our comparisons are research-based. We pull dimensions, capacities and prices from the retailers’ own product pages and say so on every card; we do not claim hands-on testing unless a guide says exactly what we tested.
